Forestland Investors Respond to Financial Meltdown Bret Vicary, PhD, MAI

In Fall 2008 the Forestry & Natural Resource Consulting group at Sewall conducted its annual “Investor Survey” in which we queried active forestland investors for their views on matters related to timber and land market dynamics, non-timber values, and acquisition model inputs. The primary question out in the forestland market place is how prices and performance returns for forestland investments are responding to the global financial meltdown.
