As a corporate business partner with Esri, Sewall has designed and implemented ArcIMS, ArcInfo, ArcGIS, and ArcGIS Server solutions for utilities and government organizations throughout North America. During 2004 Sewall was recognized as Esri Foundation Partner of the Year-Northeast for outstanding performance in working with Esri to "push forward the usage of geodatabase applications throughout the region, leading many public- and private-sector customers into more productive uses of GIS for their organizations." Sewall is also a reseller of Esri applications.



As a member of the Autodesk Developer Network (ADN), Sewall utilizes Autodesk application programming interfaces and the developer support system to create customized solutions for the pipeline industry. Sewall also has early access to a broad range of Autodesk technologies.


Sewall teams with Cartegraph to provide utilities and government with integrated GIS solutions that include automated work, asset and infrastructure management tools to help increase productivity, sustain investments and lower operating costs.


As an inaugural Remsoft consulting partner and progressive user of the Remsoft Spatial Planning System, Sewall delivers a range of forest modeling services to clients in the forest industry.

Federal GSA

Sewall's US General Services Administration contract (#GS-00F-0012P) enables federal government agencies to procure engineering and environmental services from Sewall under two federal schedules (SIN C F999; SIN C R425). Services include GIS consulting and spatial data development, environmental assessment and emergency preparedness planning, and engineering concept development, requirements analysis, and system design.

Maine Office of Information Technology (OIT)

Sewall is a pre-qualified vendor under the Office of Information Technology IT contract and is eligible to provide State agencies services in GIS consulting, database design and programming, web services and web application development.


Maine DOT

The Maine Department of Transportation has pre-qualified Sewall as a consultant for a wide range of engineering and geospatial services, including building, highway, pedestrian/bicycle facilities, overhead signing and lighting design; topographic and property surveys; property valuation and appraisal; surface water quality and stormwater management; hydraulics and hydrologic studies; highway and construction inspection; and remote sensing, aerial photography and photogrammetric mapping.

Massachusetts COMMBUYS OSD ITS53

The Operational Services Division (OSD) of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts awarded Sewall an IT Services (ITS53)--Solutions Providers contract for GIS development, customization, selection, and implementation. Under the procurement terms, Sewall is pre-qualified to provide a range of GIS services, including data conversion and maintenance, database design and application development, software and systems integration, and web services to government agencies, municipalities, and other public institutions within Massachusetts. The contract, effective 1 July 2014, allows statewide entities to contract Sewall directly without utilizing the public bid process.


Sewall teams with institutional partners and non-governmental organizations on various innovative technology initiatives. Sewall professional staff teach and participate on university department advisory boards.
