Assessment, Design & Integration

Sewall is experienced in assessing needs for a full range of GIS implementations, from project- or department-specific to enterprise or broader society GIS. We have assisted clients plan, design and implement systems for discrete research purposes, such as water pollution detection, to statewide GIS, bringing together multiple organizational and community stakeholders in the planning process. We worked with both industry and government clients to integrate data and systems across departments into one web-based enterprise system accessible to all authorized users.

Application Development

Sewall software engineers have developed applications for mobile, desktop, enterprise and web environments, currently used in government operations, utilities pipeline integrity management, and forestland management. We have direct experience providing services and solutions for health and human services, public safety, environmental management, and military intelligence.

We have many years’ experience with Microsoft's COM and .NET frameworks and have written numerous applications in Visual Basic, C++, C#, HTML, and Javascript. We have also been developing software components using ESRI's ArcObjects since ArcGIS version 8x and have adopted ArcGIS Server technology for web-based services and solutions.
