Sewall engineering professionals provide public (municipalities, water utilities, state agencies) and private clients with a broad range of water, wastewater, and storm water planning and engineering services, including permitting, modeling, design, construction administration and inspection. We also develop utility GIS and asset maintenance management systems and perform Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), subsurface investigations, and site remediation.

Water Supply, Treatment, Distribution, and Storage

Sewall provides comprehensive water supply and distribution engineering services to meet the needs of industrial, municipal, and residential users. Our previous project experience includes upgrades to transmission and distribution systems, pump stations, and storage and treatment facilities, including:

• System improvement and acquisition studies

Wastewater, Collection, Treatment, and Disposal

For over a century, Sewall has designed systems that safely transport and treat wastes, including hundreds of miles of gravity pipelines; numerous pump stations, force mains and auxiliary power systems; and treatment and residuals disposal systems such as reed beds for sludge dewatering. Our services include:

Asset Maintenance Management Systems (AMMS)

Environmental Site Assessment (ESA)

Sewall’s environmental professionals have decades of experience completing ESAs for greenfield, brownfield, and commercial development sites. Our ESAs are compliant with current ASTM and US EPA All Appropriate Inquiry (AAI) standards. Sewall also has demonstrated experience performing Phase II subsurface investigations, and developing and implementing remediation programs for underground storage tank (UST), industrial and other brownfield sites.
